Kowloon Kountryfest returns September 14th with top tier local country artists and a purpose-driven mission with deep local roots.

Saugus, MA - The 5th Annual Kowloon Kountryfest will light up the Kowloon Restaurant’s outdoor patio on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 from 3:00pm - 7:30pm, bringing together top local country artists and passionate fans for an unforgettable day of music and meaning. Hosted by Boston country radio personality (and recent Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame inductee) Carolyn Kruse, this high-energy event supports the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The lineup includes Houston Bernard, Gavin Marengi, Whitney Doucet, Darren Bessette, Fred Ellsworth and special guest appearance by rock drumming legend Sandy Gennaro (who has toured with Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Monkees, Bo Diddley and more) and cancer fund co-founders Samantha Rae and Jay DellIsola.

Enjoy delicious food and drinks, live music all day, line dancing lessons, silent auction and opportunity drawing, commemorative merch and artist and fund partner meet & greets.

Making a Difference!

The countrywomencancerfund.org was established by Samantha & Jay in 2018. Working directly with the Jimmy Fund and our two celebrity fund partners; radio personality Carolyn Kruse (a 2025 Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame inductee and former radio host on Country 102.5 FM) and legendary rock and roll drummer Sandy Gennaro (who has performed with Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Monkees and Bo Diddley). The Country Women Cancer Fund aims to provide necessary funds and raise awareness for the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston Massachusetts.

Samantha and Jay have produced over a dozen fundraising campaigns involving New England and Nashville area industry professionals, proud sponsors, as well as many artist friends. Together they have raised over 70K towards support services, treatment and prevention of Women’s Cancers.
